Una sessione informativa online dedicata alle EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges, per scoprire la nuova opportunità nell’ambito EIC e ottenere preziosi insight direttamente dai rappresentanti EISMEA.

Le EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges mirano a sostenere innovazioni deep tech ad alto rischio e orientate alla domanda, con potenziale trasformativo, soprattutto in settori con molta ricerca ma scarsa applicazione commerciale.

Questo pilot vuole verificare se un supporto competitivo e a fasi possa accelerare l’ingresso sul mercato di queste innovazioni e se il coinvolgimento precoce degli attori della domanda ne aumenti rilevanza, validazione e adozione.

Durante l’incontro verrà fornita una panoramica delle sfide proposte e saranno approfonditi due temi chiave che stanno plasmando il futuro dell’innovazione:

• Accelerating Physical AI – Come accelerare lo sviluppo dell’Intelligenza Artificiale fisica.
• Translating Disruptive NAMs into Practice – Come trasformare i New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in soluzioni concrete.

La sessione si concluderà con uno spazio dedicato alle domande e risposte.

On 15 January 2026, APRE, DLR and Access2EIC, the network of EIC/EIE National Contact Points, will organise the online webinar “EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges: Discover Opportunities Shaping the Future”, taking place from 11:00 to 12:00. The event will be held in English.

This online information session is dedicated to the EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges, offering an overview of this new opportunity within the European Innovation Council (EIC) and providing valuable insights directly from EISMEA representatives.

The EIC Advanced Innovation Challenges aim to support high-risk, demand-driven deep-tech innovations with transformative potential, particularly in sectors where strong research activity exists but commercial application remains limited.
This pilot seeks to assess whether a competitive, phased support approach can accelerate market uptake of such innovations and whether the early involvement of demand-side actors can enhance their relevance, validation, and adoption.

During the webinar, an overview of the proposed challenges will be presented, with a focus on two key themes shaping the future of innovation:

• Accelerating Physical AI – How to accelerate the development of physical artificial intelligence.
• Translating Disruptive NAMs into Practice – How to turn New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) into concrete, applicable solutions.

The session will conclude with a dedicated Q&A session.
